I'm not professional or anything, but I would like to know what would be the best video editing software for me. I would just use it for school videos and YouTube videos. I have a PC and don't want to spend a ton of money some is ok though. I've been using windows movie maker, but I would more options on editing.

I was wanting to know if there is a good editing software for making music videos that's free for a Windows 7 laptop Notebook because I wanted to make one for my friends and for my band. Also if so, is there a guide to making music videos with like a Nikon D90 camrea with not the greatest quality? What could I use to make the quality, both audio and visual, better? Any suggestions? What is the best notebook laptop for database management systems and Building Information Modeling?

I need help finding a laptop that works and runs the best with extensively using the MS Office programs as well as specialty programs based on DBMS (database management systems) and BIM (Building Information Modeling) - including 3D modeling and visualization, as well as Autodesk products. I do not need to find a computer with video editing. But alot of memory would be nice. Does anyone know the perfect Mac or Dell that would be compatible with these?
