What is a good laptop with high quality graphics and audio?

I'm looking for a laptop (portability is a must) with adequate specs to record audio and with good graphics for detailed video and photo editing. I would like to keep the price under $1000, but I'm well aware that high quality comes with a high price-tag. Please include information about sound cards and graphics cards.
Also, good storage ( 500GB) and RAM (8GB) are preferable.

I want to get a laptop or notebook thingy. I would mostly use it for typing, video editing, photo editing and MAYBE the internet. I want something thats pretty good quality but not to expensive. i want something under $400. Thanx 4 your help

net books are under 400.

you wont be able to do decent photo editing...and video editing..err good luck.

save up some more dough and look for something with "dedicated graphics" at least 512mb. and youll be fine.
