Pinnacle Studio 12 says it will support Everio's .TOD files

Pinnacle Studio 11 and up support .MOD files via the import function.

I have a jvc everio HD video camera. I do a lot of video editing on windows movie maker 2.6, which is what I use most of the time. I also have windows live movie maker, but it doesn't have some of the stuff that the other does. The windows movie maker 2.6 doesn't support the type of video. I was wondering what type of video editing software supports AVCHD Video (.MTS) on a sdhc card. Can anyone help me out? I dont know if this is enough info..

Cyberlink Power Director. You may not need the ultra version which is basically for producing blue ray dvd I think. Before you use any video editing software be sure your computer meets the requirements. This page has a requirements tab.

How to capture pictures for stop motion without using SD cards?

Okay, the internet is not helping me, I have a JVC Everio Camcorder and for my video editing software, I have Pinnacle Studio 14. Pinnacle comes with a stop motion function, however, when I plug my camcorder into the computer, Pinnacle says no stop motion device is found, and I can only upload footage and pictures on an SD Card. I do NOT want to have to buy countless SD cards and upload frames one by one into the studio, how can I just use the stop motion tool with my type of camera and not have to worry about taking up SD card space and have a plethora of pictures? Please help me!

I just got a jvc everio gz hm-30 camcorder. The editing software that comes with it is horrible. The software wont allow me to drag and drop the files to sony vegas. I was wondering if there was any way to transfer them. Any good converters?...Converters that DONT leave the watermark. I have real important footage to edit but im stuck with this problem. Help is appreciated

What do you mean by "smooth"?

If you shoot your video using a storyboard and use shot blocking with good documentation, your cuts should be just a function of your editing ability

Expecting a free video editing program to provide you with the tool you need to compliment your fine JVC Everio, is going to be problematic. You have a camera that from my research costs over $1000 and then want to use "free" software to produce videos ... there is something wrong with this picture. You should at least buy Adobe Premiere Elements (under $140)

There are three sides to the video and still triangle. 1) Equipment 2) Software 3) skills using 1 and 2.
