What to use for video workflow & software for video caputed from you DSLR?

Looking to purchase a Canon 7D - looking to understand what's next in my workflow and my editing of video.

Secondly (in addition to that) - do you use a Mac or PC? Actually thinking of a Mac to use iMovie. Have used Pr Element on Win - crashes all the time (V8.0).

I use a mac.. imovie works well but can be very sluggish when it comes to high quality videos. If u get a mac i suggest buying final cut pro.

What is a good camera to buy?

Im almost 19 and i have film experience along with editing. So i know what im doin i just havent been able to afford a video camera. Ive been lookin at the Canon 7D because if im spendin so much $ i might as well get a multitasking camera. Any info on good video cameras with good prices will help.

How about the Samsung Galaxy Camera. It has Facebook and Twitter immigrated in it and it has photos and ALL the editing software AND it can automatically upload to Instagram. It is sold in ATT and it is touch screen.
