intel i5 laptop for video editing image
Bronson
I'm looking to buy a new PC laptop for some light gaming (Minecraft, Slender, Team Fortress 2, etc.) and video editing, but I don't know what to buy or where to buy from.
Some things I'm looking for in a laptop:
1. Intel i5 or i7 +2.0GHz or something equivalent or better
2. Intel HD Graphics or anything equivalent or better
3. 11.9"-15.6" screen
4. +320GB
5. +4GB RAM
6. Windows 8
7. Reliable; will last me at least a year or two
8. Long lasting battery life
9. Dual core processor or more
10. Budget of $650
11. Sold from a reliable website (Amazon, Newegg, Bestbuy, etc.)

Dell Inspiron 15.6-Inch Laptop is a good system under you range. It has Intel Core i5 1.8 GHz (3 MB Cache) and to compliment that 6GB DDR3 is there. Hard drive space is 500GB which is higher than you need.
Here you can find actual user review on this Laptop:

It has Intel HD graphics 4000 & Windows 8, price is also good for the system you get. build quality is very fine, the laptop is fast along with longer battery life. HDMI & USB 3 is also there. Hope this answer help.

What kind of laptop processor should I get?

Hi i'm planning on buying a laptop but im not sure what processor i should buy, as there are many different ones. I will be using the laptop for browsing the internet and watching videos, recording, video editing in sony vegas (maybe) and playing some games (age of empires, zoo tycoon, hour of victory etc). So i was wondering do i just need a dual core? Or an i3? Should I get an intel or AMD?
Answer
From my experience, Intel processors will probably get you the most bang for your buck in the mid range. First off, dual core will definitely be helpful, particularly if you multitask; most processors are dual core these days, including the entire Intel "i" series. While an i3 will probably suffice, I can personally testify to how smoothly even recent games run on an i5; the turboboost of an i5, which is essentially an automatic overclocking when needed, is helpful. Of course, for both video editing and gaming, a dedicated graphics card is all but essential, and a lack thereof will bottleneck a laptop's performance regardless of processor.
