But these are professional grade editing softwares. windows XP has a built in software for editing video, look it up at your list of softwares and it is called Windows movie maker, if yer using an Apple, it usually comes with imovie. Also, most third party DVD roms are bundled with decent editing softwares which will fit the need of a video editing enthusiast.
