Is There a Video Editing Software that Will create a DVD quality or clear video?

Q. I have a music video on my Windows Movie Maker, but I want to know if there is a video editing software that I can get that will turn the WMV file into a clear DVD quality video?

I'm trying to get the video to look as if its a crystal clear copy.

I know that VisionLab Studio from FXHome does HD editing, but it can't import wmv, jast AVI and two other formats

Is there a way to move a wmm file to another video editing software?

ive been working on this video on windows movie maker for a long time, but i cant publish it and i don't know how to fix it, ive tried everything people have told me. so is there a way to move the unpublished windows movie maker file, to a different video editing software?

Save the file not as wmm (windows movie maker files) but as .avi files.
When your work is finished and you want to save it, Click on "Publish to" "This computer", choose a folder to save your file and click save.Then you can open it in a different editing program
