I'm looking at getting a new laptop for video editing. I'm looking at two different computers - the main difference - the graphics card. The cheaper one has a NVIDIA GeForce 330M (with 48 pipelines) and the more expensive one has a GeForce 250M, which has 96 pipelines. Will the first option have a good enough graphics card for video editing in high definition?

Answer
When you encounter such problem, you are advised to try this tool: hd converter.
It supports large range HD video and general video formats and all popular players.

And you can also try this: ts or mts video converter.

How can I make a good quality video recording and professionally edit it plus make the audio clear?

I've been dreaming to make some short videos (advertisement type, like some people on youtube make), however I only have a camera, laptop and a cheap mike. Are there any free video editing softwares or something as simple as photo story 3 but for creating/editing videos (and audios)?

Answer
Keep the dream alive! Making videos is great fun. I'm not sure what type of video camera you have, but I do know that you will need a good laptop if you are planning on doing any serious video editing. Some laptops come bundled with a built in camera and mic and even software which will allow you to easily capture some video and export it ready for uploading to YouTube etc. Cyberlink YouCam is an example of software which sometimes comes bundled with laptops.

Else, if you're using Windows (Me, XP, and Vista) you may have Windows Movie Maker available. Development of Windows Movie Maker was abandoned after the release of Windows Vista; its replacement, Windows Live Movie Maker, is included with Windows Live Essentials, a free download from Windows Live. Google is your friend :))

Good luck!
