Video editing software included in the box with any consumer camcorder is useless.

To answer your question, likely CyberProducer, CyberDirector or something like that - it is in the camcorder's manual - download the camcorder's manual from the JVC support area. It's only useful "feature" is that it can deal with the funky .TOD files JVC HDD camcorders use. You can convert these yourself with StreamClip or HandBrake. Then you can use MovieMaker... or if you want real consumer-grade video editing software (rather than free/bundled stuff), Sony Vegas.

Better Flip video editing software or free converter?

I got a flip video camera and shot a movie with my friends, but the editing software it came with is horrible. Is thier any free software that it works good with. Also if u know of a converter so i can use it with windows movie maker that will work too. the file format is .avi
the 4video whatever and most of the ones on here either put a watermark on the videos or only give you half of the video. i wanted one that was free and didnt mess with the videos.

for converter u can use handbrake or any video converter both are pretty good and free get at filehippo.com
