video editing software staples image

I am looking for a laptop. This will be used for capturing video from a television and video editing, that is it. I want to upload the videos to the internet when im done editing. So my needs in a laptop are internet connection, ability to store videos, and enough space to run a video editing software. This, in my opinion, is extremely basic however im looking for an opinion on the LEAST EXPENSIVE laptop that can do this.

Because of patent laws, one program can't be "just like" another one. They can do similar basic things but they're all set up just a little differently. There's a reason that Macs are more expensive and iMovie is one of those reasons. The closest you're going to get to iMovie on a PC is one of the commercial (not free) programs and it's not going to work "exactly" like iMovie. Adobe's Premiere Elements is probably as close as you're going to get to iMovie. It's on sale this week at Staples, Best Buy and others. If you're a student you can buy for less through Adobe's Education Store.
