Answer
Try free scree recorders like

AviScreen is an application for capturing screen activity in the form of AVI video or bitmap images. Beside the usual options defining the capture area, AviScreen has a unique feature called âfollow the cursorâ. Using this mode you can produce a video or image of relatively small dimensions while covering all mouse activity over the whole screen area.
You may stop or pause the video capture at any moment. Allow a delay before stopping or pausing the capture by leaving the cursor in its last position, then use the shortcut key or the popup menu to stop/pause. If you use the popup menu to stop/pause the capture, the process will also be captured and may need to be trimmed later. When the computer is slow or very busy, sometimes it is necessary to hit the shortcut key several times before it works.

CamStudio
CamStudio is able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files and using its built-in SWF Producer can turn those AVIs into lean, mean, bandwidth-friendly Streaming Flash videos (SWFs)

Here are just a few ways you can use this software:

* You can use it to create demonstration videos for any software program
* Or how about creating a set of videos answering your most frequently asked questions?
* You can create video tutorials for school or college class
* You can use it to record a recurring problem with your computer so you can show technical support people
* You can use it to create video-based information products you can sell
* You can even use it to record new tricks and techniques you discover on your favourite software program, before you forget them

How to make text clear after taking a screenshot?

I'd rather

After I take a screenshot of something, i go to paint and edit it so its just the part I want. Then i post it to tumblr but the words/text are so small! Anyone know how to fix that?

Answer
Don't use a kiddie graphics editor like MS Paint.

FREE software (No Animation):

GIMPshop is available for many different operating systems, including Mac OS X, Windows 98+, Linux, and Solaris: http://gimpshop.com/

Free Web Photo Album: http://www.vicman.net/installed.php?Title=Web%20Photo%20Album&Version=1.2

Screen Capture:

Use PrtScr only if you don't have a good screen capture program. Takes only the current browser window when you do it that way. Then you have to crop the image later if you need just a small section of the image.

Use the following free software that allows you to select the area for a screen capture and/or whether you need to auto-scroll for a capture of a window that is too long.

Last free version of FastStone Capture 5.3 (1.2 MB) - http://www.oldapps.com/fast_stone_capture.php

Comes with its own built in Graphics Editor. Has many other shortcut keyboard options. The best feature is the auto-scroll on the web pages that has a scroll bar. This programs will auto-scroll and capture entire page!
