I want a free video editing software, which has various options like adding a song and pictures in between, fasten the video, reverse and other options like that.

There are some free choices, though.
I don't like to make recommendations, since what suits me personally may be too complicated to learn for novices.
You might like to start by looking at Windows Live Movie Maker. That most excellent and easy to use app may not have quite everything you want, though.
It would be wrong of me to say that the very best (pirated) software for this purpose can be obtained from various torrent sites - so I won't!

I'm thinking of making a YouTube channel however to do this i'll need good but free video editing software and screen recording software. Any suggestions?

FileLab is a freeware video editing program for just about all platforms (Mac, PC, etc...). I use it a lot to make YouTube videos. It runs in your browser using a simple plug-in download. It's also available as a free app on Facebook. It has many transition and video effects, very good title editor, and customized color correction to include brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, and gamma. VSDC Video Editor is the coolest of all the freeware video editors. It's a recent freeware release as compared to most other freeware editors, which are ancient. But as such, it can easily edit HD videos in most popular formats. But what stands out from most others is it can do green screen (chroma key) editing effects as demonstrated in this YouTube video:
