Answer
I'd like to recommend HD video editor to you, I always use it to edit video and make funny video for uploading to Youtube, it's easy to use and the quality is awesome, you can crop, cut, join, edit video with it easily. It also embeds many special effects, you can even add text to video or add background music, that's pretty cool. It worth a try. Here is the free download link.

And here is a step by step guide about how to use it

Hope it helps. Contact me if you have any other question.

What video editing software has Hollywood visual effects?

MICHASLYAD

I am going to download a free software from sites like torrent, but am having trouble choosing an available free software like movie studio platinum visual effects suite that offers Hollywood visual effects like smoke, gun shooting, green effect, I want effects if possible that have 3d dragons, I want to make movies like lord of the rings or hobbits, by using easy to use video maker with provided effects inputed such as I mentioned, too bad the software I mention is not available for free anywhere, I want a good software not a lame one that ccan be downloaded in a non trial version for free..

additional : anybody know any on screening video application with recording studio to make covers in youtube or music video like having 4 videos playing together in the clip, singing different tunes to blend, and seeing the same person sing in the 4 videos with different tune ,want with a high microphone.and good quality video on screen recording.so as not to delay any movements recorded.

Video Editing:

Sony Vegas: $600
http://sonycreativesoftware.com/vegaspro

Lightworks; semi-free alternative to Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas.
http://lwks.com

Lightworks has been used in the movie industry for more than 20 years. Lightworks also has the fastest workflow in the industry.

Lightworks used to cost more than $1,000, but now Lightworks Pro costs $60/year and you can download a free version from their website.

Sony Vegas costs $600 and that's the same price as using Lightworks Pro for 10 years.

Editors using Lightworks have produced numerous internationally renowned and Oscar and Emmy award-winning feature films and television programs, including The King's Speech, The Departed, Mission Impossible, Braveheart, and Pulp Fiction.

And yes! Lightworks is FREE if you don't need pro video codecs and you can use the free version as long as you want.

Visual Effects:

After Effects for VFX compositing; $20/month ($240/year)
http://adobe.com/products/aftereffects.html

Blender for 3D animation and VFX; free alternative to Maya and After Effects.
http://blender.org

Blender has a complete VFX pipeline in one single software package. Blender has tools for modeling, sculpting, rigging, animation, rotoscoping, chroma keying (green screen), motion tracking, smoke, fire, and fluid simulation, particles, destruction, physics, color grading, node compositing, and video editing.

After Effects uses "layer-based" compositing. Blender uses "node-based" compositing similar to Nuke; used in the movie industry http://thefoundry.co.uk/products/nuke

Blender has more advanced features but After Effects is easier to use.

The easiest and most detailed tutorial on how to use Blender is Neal Hirsig's tutorial at http://gryllus.net/Blender/3D.html

Blender is 100% free with full functionality, no adware, no spyware, and no viruses, and you're allowed to use Blender in any production without having to pay for anything.
