I Need A Good video editing software that will let me show a picture while im still talking in the video kinda like the news channel and a software that would let me edit great movies but im mainly focusing on something that would let me show a picture while playing the video at the same time and something that would let me cut in and out of two videos so like if im talking about a video i could show the video that im talking about while still being able to here the video that im talking in.....And How Would I Get These Softwares And How Much Would They Be?

I have several hundred pictures that I need to be compiled into a slide show. I need each pictures duration, however, to be one second or less (sort of like a stop-motion animation). Anyone know of any free or potentially inexpensive video editing software that will allow me to do such a thing with little effort?

(Stop Motion Animator would be greatly appreciated)

You may try this Video Editor, it's a nice video editing software that can help you edit, join, split, trim, crop, convert and cut video, my friends recommend it to me, it's easy to use and works pretty well for me, it embeds many special effects. Does ANYONE know a free video editing software that you can do picture on picture (also knows as picture in picture) with? And if you're stupid, that just means you have your video and can crop another video into the picture, for example I can record myself playing a game, use a screen recorder to record the game, and then crop me playing it in the video software into the corner of the film of the game.

I am looking for a simple but good video editing software. I have pictures and want to put them on a DVD with effects and transitions......Windows Movie Maker is really bad i dont like it so want to get a new one.

Windows Movie Maker
VideoSpirtpro
Wax
tracAxPC

None of these has worked well for me (i.e. Windows Movie maker crashes, videospirtpro puts an ad in my movie, tracAxPC can't put in good titles, pictures and video clips, etc).

Does anyone know of a good, free, and easy to use video editing software? I am on a 32bit Windows XP system, so please don't recommend something for Windows Vista or Windows 7.

There is not much you will get for free as you can see the best one the i know of is windows movie maker 11 on windows xp and 7. if you are using an older ver of movie maker you will get those crashes and if the cmputer cant take the load of the redering process of the video movie maker will also crash on you.

it is called "Picture In Picture". you can do it 'manually' by place 2 video layer and resize / crop one of those videos (or both)

What is the best video creation software?

Not so much video EDITING software...The majority of my videos are made from pictures and text, not film.

I'm looking for:
many cool effects for pics and text
fairly easy to use
preferably lightweight program
be able to save at least 720p
stability
able to handle split second flashes of images( I say this because WMM can't handle more than about 3 pics per second)

freeware would be nice but it doesn't have to be.
