Any will do.

If MovieMaker is not enough, speed the video as much as you can in MovieMaker. Export to a high quality video file. Import this to a new project. Speed it up. Do that as many times as you need to get the video to the speed you want.

Sony Vegas may allow a little easier time by allowing more "speed-up" in a single pass.

Does anyone know of some good, free, video editing software that can take a video and replace, say, all green with transparency? I want to do a green-screen film, where I film in front of a colored screen, and then substitute in the scene background during the editing process.

The only free program I am aware of that can do this is Zs4. You can download it here: http://www.zs4.net

It has the ability to do over 150 different kinds of video effects including green screening and colour keying.

It is a little complex to use initially however there are lots of free tutorials floating around Youtube which can help you.
