Is there any video editing software that allows you to...?

Q. block out wording that other editors have added?

Answer
Depends what your needs are. If you want them to disappear totally and look like they have never been there, then most any video editing program can do that. I do believe every Video Editing Program has a Frame capture effect, which can get the frame your timeline indicator is sitting on and make a Bit Map image of it. You could take that Bit Map and with great time expense and patience erase the wording. Then delete that frame your Indicator is on and add your new frame. Do this for every frame and your done.

Another way involves using a Multi or endless Timeline Video Editing Program. Put your video on the Timeline, then put images where the words are, using a PSC printer or scanner, get colored paper images that just cover the words. Use the Pan and crop or PIP effect or similar to place the paper image over the text. Get creative and add text on top of the paper, either when scanned or with a text effect showing over top of the paper.

Pinnacle Studio and Sony Vegas Pro are two of the very many Video Editing Programs that have Multi Timeline abilities.

Gaming video editing software? YOUTUBE?

Q. I'm going to make my first youtube gaming video, and I bought a screen camera (to record my screen), and a video camera to record my face.
Is there a software where you can put videos in another video?
Or record games and your face.
Thanks

Answer
That is called PIP (Picture in Picture) Effect.

Windows Movie Maker can do PIP effects too

It will be too long to post all the steps, here you can get the tutorial
