I just need to do some very simple, basic editing which consists of cutting clips and moving them around something that JayCut allows me to do very easily BUT it does not allow me to save so I can't upload it unless I pay. Windows Movie Maker is constantly freezing up with the videos that I import from a digital camera. Does anyone know a free, easy software available so i can finish editing this video? Thanks!

I'd like to recommend Movavi Video Editor to you, I always use it to edit video and make funny video for uploading to Youtube, it's easy to use and the quality is awesome, you can crop, cut, join, edit video with it easily. It also embeds many special effects, you can even add text to video or add background music, that's pretty cool. It worth a try

Photobucket is a great web based and FREE editing tools. The software behind it comes from Adobe who make some of the best commercial ($$$) photo and video editors. Also check out Jaycut which allows you to export and save your videos! If you need/want more features downloading VideoSpin, VideoPad or VideoThang are great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. For under $100 you can buy Adobe Premiere Elements.

Good quality video editing software?

Ok, so I am a teen who is obsessed with fitness and working out. I want to make a YouTube channel to motivate others, and i have a bunch of great ideas for workout videos. Now, I`ve heard that iMovie is good for quick video editing, but not good quality wise. Ive heard mixed reviews about Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Pro X. But those two programs are 300 bucks! Is it worth it? Im looking for a good editing software that can give great detail, audio, and visual effects. Are there any affordable ones out there, or should i suck it up and get Final Cut Pro? Please Help!!!!!!!

iMovie is free with Macs, so if your budget is constrained then your choice is pretty clear. Why not start with something free like iMovie and learn that? Then if you want to uplevel it, then buy Final Cut... or something else.

I don't know what you've heard, but I've heard nothing but good stuff about iMovie and the latest version is supposedly very close to Final Cut. It's supposedly much that it can be hard to use because it's so complex. And a good training program if you do go more advanced. I've used previous versions of iMovie and it is very simple, so maybe that is what you'd heard about. Check the more recent versions...

Also in the world of video editing, $300 is nothing. I'm surprised it's that cheap. If you haven't edited before, you will probably be overwhelmed with Final Cut. I know I have been and I'm used to timelines from Flash. It's pretty steep learning curve, especially with audio.

You are mostly going to be dealing with raw footage, and will need to design your title and end graphics. Maybe look at a resource that you can import and edit like something from videohive.com or pond5.com You can get an intro for like $15 and edit it with your workout video name in place of the filler text.

If you do decide to move on from iMovie, I've heard a lot of editors and producers say that Premiere and After Effects is a better combo, and Final Cut is slipping in popularity.

Q. I have a music video on my Windows Movie Maker, but I want to know if there is a video editing software that I can get that will turn the WMV file into a clear DVD quality video?

I'm trying to get the video to look as if its a crystal clear copy.

I know that VisionLab Studio from FXHome does HD editing, but it can't import wmv, jast AVI and two other formats

The best is Final Cut Pro but i would also recommend Adobe Premiere

(final cut was used to edit quite a few Hollywood movies.)
