Which is the best video editing software for windows 7?

Yussiiii

I need a software for editing video clips or creating video clips with pictures and songs.
It will also be better if it has the ability to sync the video with the audio I put.

I used to do this in windows movie maker in xp, but the audio wont always sync with the video, sometimes the audio comes 5 seconds away from the video.
I hope you guys understood what I asked.

If not, then here is an example,
my friends dance to a song and I record them through my mobile,
so I would put that video in the editor and add real mp3 or m4a or wav songs and sync it with the video.
More like making a music video.

It will be nice if I can edit the clips or audios too.

Answer
If you were using Windows Movie Maker, I'm guessing you want a free video editing program. Try Serif MoviePlus Starter Edition.

If you are prepared to spend a small fortune, Adobe Premiere is probably the best.

I recently switched to windows 7 and it does not support windows movie maker. It gave me the option of using windows live movie maker, but it sucks! I want a good free video editing software that allows special effects and transitions. If you know of a fairly inexpensive one let me know! Thanks!

Answer
I'd like to recommend AVS Video Editor to you, I always use it to edit video and make funny video for uploading to Youtube, it's easy to use and the quality is awesome, you can crop, cut, join, edit video with it easily. It also embeds many special effects, you can even add text to video or add
background music, that's pretty cool. It worth a try

What video editing software comes standard with a laptop with Windows 7?

Kevin

I'm thinking about buying a laptop with Windows 7 and not a mac but I need to know what kind of video editing software it will come with mainly because I am a video maker for YouTube.

Answer
There's Windows Live Movie Maker, not included due to the lawsuit about prepackaged programs leading to monopolies. Anyways, it's now a free download off Microsoft's website.

You can probably find better free or paid video software elsewhere on the internet for Windows.
