Hello, i want to get a desktop that is good for gaming like minecraft, maplestory, and rumblefighter that plays smoothly. I also want to use it for school, i might also want to do video editing or using photoshop. I also want one that doesn't lag for along time or lag often, i might also watch movies/shows/animes on it.
Thank you :)
- Nathan
I would also play sims too!
I'm not going to play high end games
Thank you :)

Answer
Well...It would depend on the games you would like to play. If you are planning to play high end games then you would need a good graphics card involved. It also depends on the applications you run on your system. I would suggest any computer with the following components.

Processor - AMD Phenom II X4 3.4 GHz Black edition or Intel I7 processor
Motherboard - ASUS or Gigabyte that supports DDR3 RAM or if using Intel Processor, Intel MB.
RAM - DDR3...at least 4GB (if MB has 4 slots, you can have up to 16 GB).
Graphics Card - ATI Radeon or nVidia GE Force 9600 1GB.

A configuration that involves the above components is fast and can be used for any softwares and games that are currently being used for education. However, your experience also depends on the OS. I would suggest Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate with Aero.

Can a Computer Programmer or Computer Software Engineer create an entire website by them self?

ANDRE

What exactly can you do with the education of a Computer Programmer? Also, could you do anything associated with video games? If you could please make a list of every possible thing you can do if you a properly educated Computer Programmer. Thank you.

Answer
My best friend and I both have the same university degree, even with the same specialization at that university. However, our interests differ. He would have no problems making a pretty advanced computer game, and I have no problems making professional web sites. Both of us probably would need a graphic designer to dot the i's, but you get the idea:

go to a good uni with a good CS program (one that does NOT teach you how to use Microsoft Access!) and you'll come a long way.

## EDIT ## Web sites are NOT mainly CSS and mark up; that statement holds only for static websites. I'm pretty sure that most websites nowadays contain more than 95% program code --the rest being mark up.
