Hi! I am with a group of 8th grade friends who are working on a YouTube gaming channel. We need to raise quite a bit of money for our equipment, $7500 to be specific. Even though it sounds high, the money will be used for gaming and computer equipment for video editing. We have saved quite a bit by getting the student editions of the software we need, and we built the "game room" ourselves. Hell, we even have color changing DMX LED lights in the room. The main thing we need is a good editing setup (DSLR, laptop, software, etc.) and two gaming pc's. So, does anyone have ideas on how we can raise the money? We can't get jobs, no financing, no loans, no lemonade/garage sales, and I don't think that anyone on IndieGoGo or KickStarter would support us. We would appreciate any advice or ideas.

Ok here are some ideas:
- Get a real job, like a bagger at market basket. Your at that age now.
- Ask your parents if there are extra chores you can do around the house.
- Enter online competitions for edits or other gamer type contests.
- Do some fall raking or winter shoveling. Maybe one of your parents will lend you a snow blower?
- Yard sales.
- Check out Mystery Shopping (look it up on google)
- Design stock images then post them on paying sites (also look up on google)
All these together should raise your money in no time.

What are the best free video editing apps?

Ok well I have an iPhone 4 and a 7-inch android tablet laptop and I want to start making YouTube videos, but I don't really know what apps are best for editing them. I'm looking for free or cheap apps for my phone or my computer, either one, it doesn't really matter. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance(:

Apps are cheap and cheesy. If you really want to edit video you won't do it with a silly phone. You'll do it with a real video camera - a dslr or a camcorder and you'll buy a decent editor that works on a pc.
