So I recently graduated college and my laptop also decided to call it a career and stop working. I'm now in the dilemma of deciding which route to go for my next computer purchase. I currently use my ipad2 to surf the web and don't necessarily need a portable computer as I'm finished with school and my occupation does not require one. Mainly I want a nice computer for downloading movies/music, website editing, using flash, editing video footage on my go pro hero3 black (which is why I'm considering retina display), something that can play video games like diablo 3 (nothing to crazy I do most of my gaming on my ps3 and am sure I will get the ps4 when it comes out), I also intend on continuing to take pilot lessons in the future and want to ensure whatever computer I get can efficently handle flight simulators. I've never owned a Mac computer before but I love my ipad and iPhone and have heard great things about their video editing software and really want to make some cool footage with what I have on my go pro so far and continue to do so in the future. Was really hoping to get some opinions on whether people think I should go the MacBook Pro route, iMac, a pc desktop with a really nice display or perhaps even an all in one PC option (have heard very little about) I want something that will last a long time and I know the Mac route will cost more I'm just interested if others think it is worth it for my purposes. Really appreciate all and any suggestions as this is going to be my first computer purchase in 5 years.

You should definitely go for MacBook pro retina because it is powerful , light , portable , works almost like iMac and looks trendy. But iMac is great if you want to do the things like video editing and gaming on professional levels. The only thing is that it is not portable. Also almost negligible amount of viruses affects Mac's (just one or two) . But you wont be able to get the flexibility that you get on a desktop PC.
An All-in-one is a strict no for me as it overheats quickly after few years and also repairing cost is more
and consumes lot of time (telling you on my personal experience) and after few years will lag a lot. SO the option remains MacBook pro , iMac and desktop PC. In Future if you will want to upgrade the hardware of your machine then iMac and PC will cost much less than the MacBook pro . Although PC makes a smarter choice as you can upgrade to latest stuff easily on a PC and it is also cheap.
You can go for MacBook as you dont need a special Gaming device.

Where can I find a good video editing system?

I use Google Chrome and I don't really want to download Movie Maker because it does not work on mine... Please list some good video editing system or effects...
Thank You...
