What kind of computer would be good for me?

So my laptop broke. I love editing videos and remixing music. I need a lot of memory to hold all of it. I need a fasting computer, too. I don't want to wait 15minutes for my documents to import into software. I don't like Apple products. At all. I need right clicking. Size doesn't matter really, neither does looks. I don't have a huge budget, but it will be partly a birthday gift so I can get my mom to pay for some of it. My sister told me to buy one off of eBay but I'm not sure if I would trust it.. Anyways, as someone who does a lot of video/music editing and gimp-drawing. What do yo think would be a good computer for me?
It was supposed to say fastish as in kind of fast. I am on my sister's iPad until I get a new laptop. I apologize.

If that's all you want then the Samsung Chromebook looks right for you. Only $250. But beware that it won't run games.

I mostly use computer for browsing the internet. Other things I do are:

Read and download PDF and Microsoft Word files; which I should be able to access without internet connection. (I don't mind having to change the format as long as I have off-line access to the content)
Write text while having multiple word documents open, and copy/pasting from each other. (It is sufficient if I can do that using alternative programs/applications etc)
Stream videos

Play browser games, or old games though this is not vital.

If the answer is no to some of them, would I be able to do these using an SD card?

Chromebook has a Microsoft viewer built in so you can view word, excel and PowerPoint documents off line, with Google Docs you can create and edit word style documents. Google docs works in offline mode. use Google Sheets, and Google Slides online to edit Excel, and PowerPoint.

you can play any Flash based game in the web browser, bot any other old game wont work unless there is a flash version, which there may be, if you look.

The easiest way to find games is using the Chrome Web store.

go into a bestbuy and check it out, play with one and decide which you like more.the Samsung only has 16gig of storage, but a 6.5 hour battery life, the Acer has 320gig hard drive, but 3.5 hour battery life.

you can not install software on a chrome book, and Virus protection is built in.
