Like which one is the best quality? I want the best graphics for gaming and video editing. I surf the Internet (Google Chrome) a lot and prefer it to be decently fast.

Acer Aspire V3-771G-9809 17.3-Inch Laptop

Acer Aspire V3-771G-6851
17.3-Inch Laptop

Acer Aspire V3-571G-6407 15.6-Inch Laptop

Acer Aspire V3-571G-9686 15.6-Inch Laptop

This is all I can afford, I don't have more than $1000 dollars. I think all of these and their specs are on Amazon, so just copy paste the laptops in the amazon search. My phone isn't letting me put the links down so sorry about that inconvenience. Thanks for your help.

What is the least processor you would get for a video editing laptop?

Q. Hi, I would like to buy a laptop for under $1000, but this is proving to be exceedingly difficult. There are compromises at every corner.

What would you include or exclude for a video editing computer?

17 inch screen?
2 gb ram?
2.0ghz core 2 duo/ 667mhz fsb
1.86ghz core 2 duo/ 533mhz fsb
1.73ghz core 2 duo/ 533mhz fsb

I was considering either an inspiron e1705 or a 1505, the differences being that the e1705 has a 17 in screen, the 1505 has 15, and the e1705 has a 256 nvidea 7900gs graphic card.
I have a $500 coupon for both, but i can't seem to keep the price low enough on the e1705 and still have enough for at least a 2ghz processor and 2gb or ram.
Is the video card on the e1505 good enough?

Answer
Newer CPUs is fast enough that it's not a really important consideration anymore. In your case i would go with the e1705 simply because it has a dedicated graphic card instead of the integrated built-in that the e1505 has. Since graphic is the bottle neck in today PC you want to get the better video card of the 2 and simply put the integrated video card can't match the performance of a dedicated card. There's also the fact that while dedicated graphic card has their own RAM, integrated card shared the RAM with the system, therefore it will slow it down even more. Go for the e1705 with 1 or 2 GB RAM and a slower CPU ( 1.6 - 1.8 GHz is plenty fast for your budget).
