best free video editing software for really slow laptop?

Anthony

i have to be able to cut clips and add music thats pretty much it and my laptop is garbage so it has to shitbox compatible

Answer
First check to see if your laptop has Windows Movie Maker already installed. Recommend trying that first. But if WMM doesn't thrill you, then may I suggest three very good free video editor programs, Freemake, FileLab, or VSDC? Each is safe, fully functioning, no watermarks, will not ask for money, and are recent releases that are HD capable. Some even have green-screen (chroma key) and split-screen (picture in picture) editing. Take your pick:

Please also view a bit of the following YouTube videos edited with the above programs. They may help you decide:

Are apple laptops still viewed as cool?

//John

A few years back, people would think that you are cool and rich when you own a Macbook laptop.
Is it still like that now in 2012?

I admit that I am not an apple fan and would buy a windows laptop if given the money.

Answer
No, laptop does not define social status. Laptop is simply meant for everyday computing (i.e. word processor, internet surfing, photo or video editing).
