what video editing software supports mov files?

GioSupreme

i need a good video editing software that supports mov files to put videos together. I'm using a Canon Rebel T2i to record and also i have Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 program but that doesn't support mov files. Can someone help me please? I need it to start doing videos again :)

Answer
A .mov file is a container that can contain many formats of video and audio. Adobe Premiere works fine with .mov files if you install Quicktime but the old CS3 version may not handle the newer formats such as H.264 used by the Rebel T2i.

The free Squared 5 MPEG StremClip does a good job of converting between various formats to create a file you can use.
