Good HD video camera?

Q. I'm looking for a new camera, I'm particularly interested in HD ones, but don't want to spend a lot of money (eg. anything over £300 would be far too much!)
The picture quality should be good, but I want the video quality to be amazing!
Oh and I want a chargable camera, not one that runs on batteries!
